Swimming, camping, garden tour and more weekend fun ...

Find gardening inspiration: The Snohomish County Master Gardeners annual garden tours start on Saturday. Four gardens in Everett and South Snohomish County will be open. The gardeners will be available to answer questions about their gardens. Find more details in our story here.

Go camping: The Great American Backyard Campout at Silver Lake is Saturday and Sunday. Everett Parks and Recreation teams up with REI for this weekend under the stars, or clouds, as the case may be. Families can pitch their tents or build a shelter, find out about Dutch oven cooking, learn to build a campfire (gotta have s'mores), and take part in a program around the campfire. Buy plants: The Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens plant sale is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the arboretum, 145 Alverson Blvd., Everett. You'll find shrubs, perennials, trees, grasses, ground covers and herbs for sale. Cash or check. For more information, click here.

Enjoy art: Art in the Barn, the Arlington Arts Council's annual fine arts and crafts sales event, is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 20412 Highway 530, Arlington. For more information, call 360-435-8815.

Go swimming: Snohomish County's heated outdoor pool at McCollum Park opens Saturday. Swim lessons start Monday. The pool is at 600 128th St. SE, Everett. Call 425-357-6036 for more information. For more information on water fun, click here.

Live art: The Bothell LiveArts Festival includes lots of art, artisan booths and a juried art exhibit. The free community festival includes a variety of musicians, food and a Kid's Corner. The festival is Saturday and Sunday. Read more about it here.

Buzzzzzzzzzz You can learn all about mason bees and how to attract the busy pollinators to your garden at a free workshop Saturday at the Willow Creek Hatchery in Edmonds. Learn about the bee life cycle, how to build a mason bee box and managing the bees all year long. Read more here.

Dance! The 360 Break Dance Battle is on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Totem Middle School gym, 1605 7th St. NE, Marysville. The annual break dancing competition is expected to draw 20 crews from Alaska to California and more than 600 spectators. Click here for more information.
